No, MyFICO is the only place to get REAL FICO scores. Equifax sold you a Plus score, Fair Isaac uses a scale of 350 - 850, and the Plus or Vantage scoring uses 450 - 950. Plus/Vantage scores will always be higher. So your real FICO is from MyFICO.

I have just completed a couple of trial deposits with my new psecu and navy accounts. it appears as though my transfer from my flagstar bank account went through with no hold in 3 days for psecu. it appears as though my transfer from my flagstar bank account went through with a ONE DAY HOLD in addition to the 3 days for navy luckily each was only for $10 bux and didn't need it but thats good to know. a bill payment "deposit" took almost 6 days to reach my navy account from chase This happens to me when I make mutiple payments in a week or two. First is fine then subsequent ones are held.

Invited to apply for Checking Protection (Line of Credit) ... ? NFCU...
joemac421 replied to iCarl's topic in Credit Forum
I received that and I applied and was approved with scores in the low to mid 600's. -
I am in the same boat, everytime I have disputed this they have added Charge Off Dates. It is artificially keeping my score low because it appears to be recent yet it coccured in 2006. I need to attack this as well myself. Worse it is actually a PAID Charge Off.

I would DV the CA right away since they didn't send you anything, chances are they sent it to your old address. The OC did not place anything on your report so I would start with the DV to the CA first. You could call OC and have them pull it from the CA. You said you paid the balance to the OC so there shouldn't be an issue with them recalling the debt from the CA. You could get OC to send you a letter stating your account is paid in full, you could send this letter to the CRAs and have them delete in entry. You have options since the debt is actually paid and non-existant.

Congrats!! I am where you are myself, I have increased my FICOs 102 and 115 points (TU and EQ). I only started in October of last year so I feel I am doing well. I find that being persistant is the key as well as of course following what everyone says here has been a tremendous help. Thank you CB for giving me the tools to repair my credit and most importantly my spending habits.

myFico.com is the only place to get real fico scores. myFico cannot give you Experian fico scores no one can except maybe a back who ran your credit. I good credit monitoring service is myprivacymatters.com, creditchecktotal.com, usaa credit monitoring, credit secure by American Express, these are a the more popular ones.

It is a score simulator, however I answered the questions very truthfully and it pegged right where I am now.

I don't think so I think he just has to be qualified for it. -

joemac421 replied to db23's topic in Credit Forum
The way I understand it if he is qualified for full membership it will pass to you as well. I never really understood that because when they had their discharge date cut off I missed it by under a year. I had a friend on mine who's father was military and my friend had full membership and I did not but I served in the military and he didn't. It wasn't logical and really not fair to those who served. They fixed it so it is now moot. If your father was military and joined, you need to call USAA and tell them you want to be a member and your father was military give them his member ID and they will give you your own member ID which should have full membership rights. -
Thank everyone so much for posting this info, I was about to call think something adverse happened but now I can calm down, Thank you!
