  1. It was a 604 Fico. I was 640 or so on Experian's FAKO system. Using My Fico's FICO estimator once the information gets put back for the Sears card 670-720 FICO. It is going to take time and be a PITA to get it back on it seems. Spent the morning calling sears then experian repeating many times getting the run around from both. I am honestly livid about it.
  2. I just got the collection removed Awesome !!! Another issue just popped up. Instead of merely updating the balance to the lower number on the only open credit card I have the sears card.... they deleted it entirely. That account has a hight limit, a low balance and years of on time payment. Argh why can't they goof up on the baddies instead! In the morning I will call them and get it fixed.. Argh!
  3. My score came out to be 604. Earlier in the year it was mid to upper 600s even with the Judgment. The two biggest items I had any control over were a Judgment and the fact that my sears card was above the limit. It was actually pretty easy to get the judgment vacated. I reminded the collector that I had paid them before they got the default judgement. The atty had it vacated with the courts and I called experian (only one my FCU pulls) and told them it was vacated. I tried the online dispute to no avail. The phone call and giving the operator the direct line to the court did the trick. She called to verify while I was on hold and took care of it. So the judgment is gone. I paid my sears card down to $1200 (3400) limit. I noticed a couple of double pulls. My FCU did two within 24hrs. A mortage company did two within a couple days. I was able to have them reduced to a single pull for each while on the phone with experian. I have a paid collection from a ticket. I deployed after recieving it on a family road trip and my wife thought she paid it but had not. I will contact the court and collector to see if I can get it removed. So as it was before (Changes) Judgement 04/05/07 $4705 (Not on Exp anymore) Collection 05/05/08 $291 (?) SEARS/CBSD Opened 8/1/2006 Balance 10/09 $4,100.00 $3400 limit. No lates (Now $1200 balance) FCU Loan Opened 8/1/2009 $2508 borrowed $2,423.00 Balance No lates (now $2000) FCU Loan Opened1/1/2008 $6000 borrowed $3680 Balance No lates (now $3200) Visa (old) 1/1/1994 Paid/Closed 800 limit. 4. I just checked the dispute and they did not take it off. I am not sure they even checked. I have copies of the motion to Vacate judgment, Dissmisal with prejudice. What do I need to do?
  5. Many years ago I made an agreement paid off a credit card before the court date. Cavalry investments legal dept continued and got a default judgement because I thought that the agreement and payment I made to their collections dept would stop the proceedings it did not. The judgement shows on my reports. If I send a copy of my satisfaction of judgement letter to the credit report firms will it come off completely? If not how do I get it expunged entirely?
  6. The biggest hangup I have had so far is with employment history. After my deployment my full time job was gone. I have since found something better and in the state my wife is from so I went for it. Now I have "only" two months of history with my current employer. I really dislike how many creditors don't realize I have had steady employment since 1999. Starting with the regular army and even now in the national guard. My wife and I have recently started new jobs now and have a household income of 150k a year. I guess I will have to get two things fixed on my reports and a whole bunch fixed on hers.
  7. A few years ago I got behind due to helping my parents out with their medical bills. I eventually negotiated with Chase's collection agency Cavalry. I paid them however this did not stop them from going to court and getting a judgement since the collection and legal departments did not talk to each other. So I had a judgement put on on my report for a debt that was paid. To make things worse the entry in the report does not state that the judgement has been satisfied. I have a letter from Cavalry stating that the judgment has been satisfied. Will this remove it from the report if I were to send copies to the reporting agencies. If not how do I have it totally expunged. I have done the experian online dispute process on it in 2007 and to this date it did not change anything.
