I really feel like i am in too deep with credit card debt... now totalling at $12,000 which is small for some people, but i feel like on a day to day base i am using my credit cards, and i feel like i cant drop $1000 a month to pay them back.

The main debt is my amex blue, with a $5900 balance, and a $6400 limit. then the rest if in my stack of CC's.

Only thing i am afraid of is if i do decide to go with credit counseling, will this worry other lenders and then they cancel my cards? I just started a small business and need personal credit right now to make it work.

Any advise?

The first step in counseling is getting rid of existing credit...this may not exactly serve you. It's like remodeling a bathroom because the bathroom tissue is not soft enough...

a little advice from someone (myself) just coming out of CCC a couple of months ago: RECONSIDER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE

take a look at my credit scores in my sig, that should spell it out for you

12k is also not that much debt....have you considered other options?
