There is no information about the cards other than they will happen in MARCH 2005

I want to know "IF" they are going to do a FLEET/BofA type thing where they just send new card...or "IF" this is a seperate application...AND SEPERATE ACCOUNT

All the information I got from work was very limited at this point...

They will be FEE FREE TO WAL*MART/SAMS when used at WAL*MART/SAMS

It can be used at any business that takes DISCOVERCARD

And that "UP-TO" 1.00% CASH BACK deal

BUT WAL*MART/SAMS is rated at 0.0025 AT WAL*MART/SAMS on the regular DISCOVERCARD

I'd be interested to see someone apply and actually get it.

You can apply online and you will be considered for the WALMART/DISCOVER CARD first, and the WALMART CARD next... if you don't qualify for the first choice.

I just called WALMART credit cust. svc.. (not that they ever know anything) and asked them about applying for the DISCOVER card.. he told me that I would need to PAYOFF and CLOSE my current Wally World card and reapply.

I will save the hard inq for another $255 credit limit. God.. I can't imagine if GEMB continues approving such crappy limits on the Discover Branded card. Hopefully Discover stepped in and set a minimum credit limit.

Can you imagine charging on your cool Discover card with a $75.00 limit to start.. haha

UP TO $1,500.00 = 0.25%

$1,500.01--$3,000.00 = 0.50%

OVER $3,000.00 = 1.00%

With all the fine print I can't tell if the 0.25% MAX** is still there for WAL*MART/SAMS...like the other DISCOVERCARDS

**EVEN IF YOU SPEND $30,000 AT WAL*MART/SAMS
