I opened a new bank account last month, and I started a NEW account in Money 2005. I guess I didn't realize it before, but when I went in to balance, it shows that the account started $400 in the hole! How can that possibly be? So I went through and checked off all my transactions and I am still $400 off ...

Going to the top of the account, it shows a beginning deposit of $1700, and a balance of $1300!!! I did NOT input a $400 negative amount when I started this account in Money!! But now it needs to be fixed, and I can't figure out how to do that. Does anyone know how to fix this?!?!

Try this:

From the account list page - select the account and right click on it. Then select account details. In the details section you should see an option for starting balance. See if there is a -$400 dollar amount - if so - change that to 0.

I hope this helps!
