Is 2005 really worth upgrading to? I mean, I have 2003, and I get all the current updates, so it is working so far, but do the benefits of having 2005 outweigh the version I have?

TIA

I hate 2005... too many ads you cant remove, and its got too "bubbly" an interface. I stick with 2004. The ONLY redeeming value I like in 2005, is that you can easily see what the bank balance says you have, right next to what your ledger says you have. But, to be honest, its safer to go with your ledger anyway, since going by bank balances can get one in troubles...

I upgraded to 2005 on the trial, and have to agree, 2004 is better. I uninstalled and reverted back to 2004. Then again, you probably can't buy 2004 anymore.

2004 you can get dirt cheap on ebay.

I tried 2005 and after a month pulled it off. It gave me great pains and tech support would answer with, yeah, that's a known bug... sorry... nothing we can do. I don't like bugs in things that have all my financial info. That was several months ago so I don't know what might have been fixed since then. I'm too scared to try again.

I will say that sometimes I've created database issues by having the file open on 2 machines at once... but I'll be using 2004 for a while if 2005 is any sign of things to come.
