Defaulted TLs Deleted!!!

As most of you know, I defaulted on three Student Loans held by Wells Fargo a year ago. They are now in rehab, and I was able to talk TGSLC into reporting them as "paying as agreed." With the exception of TU, this is being reported correctly (TU is SUCH a PITA).

 

Well, I got brave and decided to dispute the original TLs with EX this month. I figured, what's the worst that can happen right? It comes back verified and I just have to live with it. I disputed with just this one CRA.

 

Today I pull PG and it's GONE!!! Guess who's doing a happy dance?!?!

 

Now I wish I would have disputed with all three this month on this particular set of accounts! But that's ok ... when I do my next round of disputes, you can bet I'll be hitting this one on the other two CRAs!!

I have the same with DofE...called the other day and was told the TL's should be removed within 30 days...loans were sold 12/2/04 so hopefully first week in January they'll be gone.

Thanks, pt. What makes this so sweet is that I am still in rehab ... only about four months into it. I'm encouraged that WF won't verify, so my next round of disputes with EQ and TU I will try to get these deleted.
