I submitted a dispute to TU about some Student Loans I had through Wells Fargo that I defaulted on. I have since began rehab through TGSLC. I have a total of EIGHT TL's reporting on these three SLs on TU. The three original TL's with Wells Fargo, two completely bogus lines with TGSLC and the three correct lines with TGSLC. However, the three correct lines were being misreported in that they were still showing as being in collection when they should have been reported as "paying as agrees".

TU NOW shows the three Wells Fargo TLs as 120 days past due but still closed!! In addition, they are showing two of the correct TLs as 120 days past due, and the two incorrect TLs as being "paying as agreed". So, in effect, only ONE of the EIGHT TLs is now being reported correctly.

In an unexpected but pleasing twist, I just pulled PG and see that the three TLs from Wells Fargo have been deleted on EX!! Quite an unexpected twist, as I expected this to come back as verified. Now I'm REALLY confused as to why TU would report these three lines as being 120 days past due ...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get TU to report these lines correctly without getting the RIGHT TLs deleted??

I don't have any advice for you, but TU is doing the same thing to me. They have doubled a Wells Fargo TL, my Ford Credit TL, and a collection TL. I basically called them and said that the information is reporting twice and I want them to reinvestigate; each has the same account numbers, but different information. Personally, I wouldn't be upset if any of these went away, except maybe the Ford Credit, but I can understand that you wouldn't want the positives deleted.

I had the same problem with TU. I was trying to get a SL late removed. But now they've changed the status as 60 Days Past Due. The loans have been paid off since 2002. How can a $0 balance be past due? It's so frustrating.
