We took advantage of a BT from BofA and it hit our reports today. It was the only change that took place on Experian today. The account is in my hubbys' name, I'm an AU. He lost 27 points, I lost 10 for the same tradeline changes!

Side Q: What were the specifics of the BofA BT offer?

Thanks,

Oh, sorry.... $4500 cl (includes $2000 increase after having the card 1 year) and 4.25% until paid in full, no fees, did $3800 BT. Not the best deal, but no one is offering us much better, so we jumped on it. We've got a few offers expiring in the next month, so this was quite welcomed.

Actually I consider "Prime for the life of the balance" to be one of the best deals around.

My account was eligible for either fixed 9.9% "go to" APR, or "prime for life BT". I chose the former, which made the latter unavailable (hopefully not for too long  ), and so in a few months I can probably have both.

I guess you're right! I like knowing exactly what's going on with an account - and not having to worry about juggling down the road. I guess I was just spoiled by the 0% offers we were lucky enough to get.

It's ok. You'll gain them back as your utilization lowers.

OP's last post was on 12/6/2010, so I don't think he's going to see it, anyway.
