If I do a PC from a Barclay's Ring to a Priceline Visa (or any other Barclay card for that matter) will it list as a new account as far as age is concerned? I ask for AAOA reasons as my age is short and I wouldn't do it if it lists as a brand new account.

edit: Would the Priceline be the best Barclay rewards card or should I try for another? suggestions?

Priceline isn't particularly good anymore and all the good Barclay cards also have really nice sign-up bonuses so wouldn't PC into one.

I'd just hold what you've got for now, but there may be a better card out there I don't know about.

For me, the Travelocity Amex is the best rewards card Barclays issues. If you choose the annual fee version (assuming you're going to use it enough for this option to make sense), you can earn 2.2% in Travelocity rewards with no cap.

Thanks for the replies. The biggest issue for me is that I don't use it because it isn't a rewards card. I had seen that the Priceline isn't as good as it once was, hence that part of the question, but I didn't quite know the extent of it. Too bad about the sign up bonuses that won't apply to a PC because I'm definitely not trying to add new accounts, but even without a sign up bonus, I'd rather have a card that will give me something back.

The US Air card from Barclays has a good sign up bonus (35,000-40,000 miles, depending on terms). Barclays Arrival has 40,000 "mile" sign up bonuses now.

I love travel rewards more than cash, you may not.
