Hello all and want to say thanks in advance for any answers to my question that I might receive. As you may know T-Mobile recently changed their policies and went to a no-contract system. At the same time however, they discontinued subsidies for new phones. As such, all new phones are purchased full price, but with you providing a down payment, and slowly paying $20 each month on top of whatever you are paying for their service until such time as your phone is paid in full.

My question is, with this being tantamount to a loan in the amount of whatever your phone costs, and you paying on it monthly, does T-Mobile now report positive information to the CRA's? That'd be awful nice of them. Their website does state that you are getting a 0% loan for your phone.
