If you aren't using Stamps.com already, you should be! I cannot get over how easy this is to do from home. I NEVER used to have stamps and making a trip to the post office with an infant in tow, forget about it. Then I found the all in one CMRR envelopes they have. This is the bomb.com!!! It fills the whole thing out for you. Now if I could just find someone willing to help me pay for postage and ink, I'd be good to go!!! Oh and I have a promo code if anyone wants to use it, you get $45 in postage (I don't remember getting this though), a free scale, and a supply kit (labels for stamps). The code is C-BSK5-WV6. Just thought I'd share. You probably all do this already but I feel like I invented the wheel right now. My hand was so tired from doing CMRR's yesterday.

There is a monthly fee to use stamps.com. If your sending a lot of letters it could be worth it.

Stamps.com is minimum $9.95 a month, NOT INCLUDING POSTAGE. For me, their software wouldn't print on standard #10 envelopes using my name-brand, quality printer that is less than six months old. If you don't print directly on the envelopes you also have to purchase labels on which to print the postage.

The $45 "free postage" offer I got included $5 in free postage out of the box (which didn't cover the $9 in supplies I had to buy), and then after a free intro period elapses you can mail in one postcard a month for four months for $10 each in postage credit. That's how you get to $45 "free".

So you pay $9.95 a month or more for $10 in "free" postage for each of the first four months, plus you buy supplies. JOKE.

I just canceled. I was completely unimpressed.

It's so worth it for me to actually get this crap done. With a baby to tote around and wait in lines at the post office, I would be sitting on these letters for weeks. This way I'm actually getting it done. I haven't had any issues printing directly on envelopes and I have a $19 printer. It won't even print on the paper with clouds.

And I have a $200 toaster, which I can also justify. Whatever floats your boat. If you are ever in San Diego I will make you some toast that is so good it will wilt your permanent.

LOL. My friend just bought the $400 Vegamatic blender to make her margaritas. Do you really LOVE toast?

Who doesn't?

Agreed. Does it butter the bread for you for $200? If so, I'm on this!

Man, I wish!

Look on YouTube for a video demo of the Breville Die Cast Smart Toaster. You'll want one too!

Cause you guys have been at this for a while. I'm just starting. I'm in deep. I'm about to start jacking people for stamps on the streets.

Well, I work from home and set my own hours, so when I have to go the #%& post office I just wait until I'm good and prepared to stand in line behind 25 mouth-breathers, and have the time to do so.

But then I always stock up. You can grab a fistful of CMRR forms from there once a year and buy stamps at the grocery store (thousands of stamps at a time if you like, and you can affix as many as you need, 46 cents at a time, until you have enough postage applied). Works for me, but like I said, whatever floats your boat.

It's funny, I can't bring myself to spend ten dollars a month on a postage service, but I'm about to go blow a year's worth of that in a few hours getting the inside of my car cleaned/detailed.

I just put a note in the mailbox for my letter carrier. I tell her I need those green cards for certified letters. I tell her how many I want and the next day there in my mailbox.

I hate to go to the post office, so I too get my stamps from the grocery store that is 4 blocks away. Of course I do have to go to the post office and mail certified letters.
