Ive tried over the past year as I wanted a card that just got me gas points without the rotating categories of the Freedom or IT and no strings about it.

 

Tried last June and October, denied with a laundry list. Tried again in January and was given the dreaded "pyramiding of debts" message as I just went for the Cash Rewards gas card.

 

Noticed they had this card. Does what I want and with no annual fee! It has some other perks too. I got a "12500 limit, pending approval" message which I got before in January before it came back denied. Stayed hopeful and right after I had my early lunch I checked the status and it this time said Approved 7500 limit. So happy right now! They are so wild and stringent on their approvals I was having Hard Pull remorse. But now I am extremely happy. Ready to garden!

 

Thanks again for all the info! From Bob Wang's B* info, to others who have given advice on it.

 

My current FICO is 707 on EQ and my utilization is at 5%. I have one baddie charge off that I beat at with the dispute stick often.

 

Anyways... really happy. It's the 2nd one down on their site. It's only 5 points until October but just happy to get in with them and I figure I'll check out other features of the card as I go.
