My DH has a judgement unpaid on his credit report from Arrow Recovery and they are no longer in business. What are our options of getting this off his credit report.

Do we attempt to vacate the judgement ? any advice is appreciated.

so I am no expert so take my opinion for what its worth.

When Arrow went out of business they may have filled BK which means your judgement would still go to the trustee so I don't think you could get it erased. If you need to pay it you should be able to pay it to the court and then get it satisified that way but that means paying it in full plus interest.

You are probably pretty safe in that they will not try to enforce the judgement nor will they probably renew it.

We just had to pay HSBC (now owned by Capital One) to apply for a mortgage. I am trying every angle I can to get it removed. A few people have had success with just disputing it online with the CRA's. I'm never that lucky so I am sending them a letter with the form for "releasing a judgement" that I got from the court's website. All they have to do is mail it back to the courthouse. I'll keep you all posted.
