Will Lowes pull another CR if report is frozen?

Stupid me forgot my pin# for TU. I have the pin numbers for EQ and EX. I'm going in store to apply so will they pull one of the other two instead?

 

And no I have nothing to hide....just can't for the life of me remember the damn pin number .

You are going to have to lift the freeze somehow or no new creditors will be able to pull your credit file.

 

I would imagine that there must be a protocol at the bureau for you to call in, answer identity verification questions, and change your PIN. Do that first.

There are cards with 5% cash back on home improvement stores (and Lowes specifically) for this quarter.

 

My Discover It is one of those cards... do you have one of those, or any of the others with rotating 5% categories? Can you get one that pulls something other than TU before the sale is over?

Get this, Discover CL is $1K and I just got that I believe in December. I have other CL's that are 5 X plus that amount or more and I want that 5% plus the sale plus the rebates!!! LOL!!

I just got my Discover It, so I don't know for sure. I do know that you'll get much better results calling the backdoor number (888-676-3695) and speaking to an underwriter than you will calling the CS number on your card.

 

The backdoor numbers are typically staffed M-F during regular business hours.

 

Other more seasoned Discover cardholders may have more to offer about the timing for increases. Underwriters usually have some authority, so if there is a six-month guideline with Discover I would make the case that that milestone is coming up quickly, but you need the credit line now.
