I asked awhile back if I should remove my husband as AU on my NFCU sig card because I didn't want my utilization to affect his post BK13 credit score. I did remove him (quite easily on the NFCU end) but I was warned on my thread here that I would then have to dispute it off his reports. So far I have 1 dispute result: on EQ the account was returned verified, but is listed as closed, relationship terminated. All of the account info is still there from the time he was an AU.

I was surprised by this because when I was AU on his cards before BK I disputed myself off and they instantly disappeared from my report, but those were mostly big banks ie Chase, BofA, Citi. Is this a NFCU or general CU thing?

Mostly: does it matter to his credit if they are reporting this way?

This is kind of the opposite of the "EQ doesn't report AUs" trend I've read about while trying to find similar threads here. I can't get them to stop!
