I am doing Why Chat's HIPAA process to remove some medical collections. I want to check the EQ backdoor to see if there has been any progress. I am aware that you proceed as if you are starting an online dispute but obviously do not actually start a dispute. I do not want the results of the existing dispute emailed to me, I went them mailed.

When I am on the EQ form to located my credit file, at the very bottom is has a check box that states:

"To continue, click to agree to Online Delivery of Results"

Now obviously I am not going to be starting a dispute here, I just want to see what has been done thus far on my pending disputes. Will checking this box to look at the backdoor change my existing disputes to email delivery? Or would that only happen if I started a new online dispute?

I would wait. But thats just me. Or simply go through the back door due to adverse action and not for the purpose of disputing (Even though you are not going to dispute).

Right now your going through the back door under the impression you are going to dispute. You need to access the back door under the impression of adversion action under the fact act.

How do I do it that route?
