Well this morning I got that wonderful text from NFCU saying "Approved". I applied for a refinance auto loan on Thursday to get rid of my ridiculous Santander loan. Faxed over my pay stubs and bank statement on Friday and woke up to an approval this morning. Not sure of the APR yet, but even their worst APR is better then my current.

 

Since my credit still needs some help which mainly only time will help, it looks like its time to enter the gardening stage.

 

Thanks to everyone on this forum, I have been able to improve my score enough in only 6 months to get approved for NFCU CashRewards, NFCU Navcheck, NFCU Auto Loan, Walmart Store Card and increase my limit on my capital one. I never could have imagined how much could be accomplished in such a short time.

Thanks for all of the congrats guys!

 

Just got the info on my rate... 4.49%! I know my scores are nowhere near perfect, so I would have been happy with even their highest APR since it was still 10% lower then my existing.
