Did This Happen To You? AFNI/Verizon

Apparently they bought a ton of Verizon junk debt and then tried to collect on debt that was past the SOL. I paid a collection because I had to in order to get the mortgage approved but now that I have done a little more digging.....the date of the first deliquency was 2005 and TX SOL is 4 years. Not only that, it should be off of my report just because it is 7 years later!

I send a DV to one that popped up on my reports and they deleted.

I disputed the first time, they changed the amount due. I disputed again and they deleted. It took some time, but they didn't fight it.
