An unhappy luxury-car owner known only as Wang made a bold statement to his mechanic and luxury automakers when he paid three men to smash his $423,000 Maserati Quattroporte to pieces outside of the Qingdao International Auto Show. All over a $390 dollar mechanic bill.

 

According to Car News China, Wang was bitter over problems he had had with the car, including recurring engine troubles and a dealership mechanic using used parts to repair the car while charging Wang for full priced new ones, to the tune of $390.

 

"I hope foreign luxury car producers acknowledge clearly that Chinese consumers are entitled to get the service that is commensurate with the brand," Wang told The Qingdao Morning Post, according to Agence France-Presse.

I believe his aggravation is felt by most people that own an expensive sports car.

 

I hate DH's dickmobile. I'd love to take a sledge hammer to it.

I'm thinking that the luxury car makers are going to be looking to sell a lot more cars in China to replace the ones that the owners get p***ed at.
