That's disappointing!

Their website didn't show that a few months ago. The net 30 is backed by Citi and the net 60 & 90 accounts are backed by Blue Tarp Financial.

This whole time I was thinking it was going to be a revolving account!

I remember a few years back we had people that were convinced that this was a revolving account. No matter what we told some people they just didn't believe us that it was in fact 30,60, or 90 day terms. People would run out rack up some charges and then be shocked they had to pay in full.

Lol I remember that. I think at the time the csr's were unsure. I think I remember people saying they were being told different things by different csr's. or maybe they just did not know how to ask the question.

I guess it'll probably still be worth a shot

Yes, it is definitely worth it because they are very generous with credit limits and report like clockwork to all bureaus!

True AND! If you have an AVIS car rental account you can link your Sears card to it so you can pay your car rentals that way.

Really, I did not know that...I have to look into it, we have a Net 30 account with Hertz but their rates are kind of high!

What type of file are they usually in search of... and which bureau do they check for this card. Thanks in advance.

They are a fairly easy account to set up. It is a Citi backed card so they pull Equifax & DNB if you have a thin file at Equifax. They report to Equifax Commercial for sure. We use our account extensively and have never seen them reporting to DNB. Not certain on Experian!

where are applications to apply for the avis and hertz net 30 accounts?

There are no credit apps online on their websites. You need to contact them individually so that they may fax the credit apps.
