Costco Business Credit Card

Has anyone had any experience with the Costco Business Credit card offered by HSBC/Capital One ?

 

It does not require PG if you are an LLC or Corp with 2+ years.

 

I attempted to apply in the club and was told I had to mail it in. When I completed the application, there was information indicating you can FAX it in, which I did.

 

I am an LLC started in 2001, LLC'd in 4/2011, with several trades reporting.

 

No PG given.

Keep us posted GFT! I don't know much about it. Where did you get the application? I've actually been hesitant on pulling the trigger on Best Buy because it is backed by Capital One (plus it's only a net 30) Good luck.

I called today to check status (800-220-8594) and was advised my application was APPROVED for 7,500 ! No PG !

 

I requested the application from my local Costco club, they pushed the Costco Business American Express, but I requested the Costco Commerical Credit Card and they provided me the application. You have to either mail or FAX the application (FAX listed on application). The turn around time for decision is 24-48 hours and you can call on the number above for status. The CSR was quite polite and provided the decision and credit line. She also provided me with the account number (16-digit) and the website to manage the account online. She indicated I would receive the card in 2-3 weeks following approval.

As for the Best Buy application.....I had found it online on their website. It's somewhere there. When you send it in you have to send a W-9 as well. They only offer net 30's.

Thanks to this post right here, I went to Costco today to get the application. Actually I went to 2 Costcos. The first one looked at me like I was crazy. They told me they only have the AMEX account. I went to another one and the lady said, "you know there is no rewards?" and I said, "Don't worry it's ok" haha

I jinxed it. I just realized they gave me a PERSONAL application for the Costco card backed by Capital One. I'm dealing with some great Costco employees here. 2 Costco's couldn't give me the application I was looking for.

You should have seen the look they gave me when I went in to sams and said he is the application without a personal gaurantee.

I did also find that Capital One is selling off its Best Buy accounts to Citi. The article was dated 2/2013.

 

When I went to Costco, they first told me they promote the Amex because of the rewards, but they did give me the Capital One application and let me know that they could not submit it for me and I would not receive instand decision. When I called to check status, the CSR did confirm that Costco can not submit and they (Capital One) have to review prior to decision. Turn around is 24-48 hours.

I held a personal Costco membership which I converted to a business membership for my LLC. Been a member for 5+ years.

 

When I applied for the Amex Costco card, I was declined. Have not received the "ding" letter and when I attempt to get details on Amex site, it gives me an error about records updating.....

Capital One didn't buy the commercial credit card portfolio from HSBC because Best Buy decided to use a different finance company. The business app from HSBC that is still online via Google is no longer valid.

 

Good luck with your Costco/Capital One app, you should be able to get a decent credit limit, I imagine you chose the revolving option, right? It is good that they offer different credit programs using the same guidelines!

Yeah they took it. Didn't know how to process it at first. Denied initially. Called the number while still in the store to recon. They approved me. Then I walked back to customer service and told them that the credit department said to pull up the application again that it was now approved. She wondered how I did that. I told her I had connections.

Good for you! haha.....it seems that most everyone is trained to operate in a cookie cutter, so if you change their bearings they are lost! Great to hear on your approval!

On the Costco application, what was the limit you requested? Did you request $7500 or more?

It is good to know that Capital One Business Cards are still granting some decent credit limits like HSBC used to do. They probably haven't tinker much with that division, except that they have lost a lot of merchants that the old HSBC used to serve. Does anyone know what other business credit programs are still available through Capital One Business Solutions?
