Hey Guy,

First time posting here. I am new to forums and have read some credit repair articles in the past but never tried to pursue any kind of repair in the past.

I have two scuff marks on my credit report, but first a little about me and my credit experiences.

I did 4 years in the Army all of which were overseas in South Korea. I didn't really know about credit or how it worked until I getting ready to leave Ft Benning and didn't have enough money to buy a laptop. A buddy of mine or ex-buddy I should say took me that big mall outside of Benning and took me to a Kiosk where at the time I thought I was getting a sweet deal on a Laptop 3000.00 for a sony VAIO at 23.35 APR the saleswoman assured me I couldn't get a loan or credit card because I had no credit history. So me, a fresh out of basic training 18yr old punk, jumped at the opportunity to someone lending me money.

Long story short an allotment was made somehow the finance guys canceled the wrong allotment 3 months before this loan was paid off and caused it to go 90 days unpaid. The guys at Pioneer had an address which I remember vividly the address was the barracks where I did OSUT and an phone number that was frozen due to being stationed overseas. The somehow got ahold of my family and they gave them my korean phone number I immediately paid them the money and have been trying to get them to remove the missed payments due to the fact that some cheese head in finance removed the wrong allotment!

The other late payment was from AAFES no two paragraph for this one. I ETS'd and was still living in Korea and for some stupid reason aafes doesn't allow military ID card holding patrons to buy or make payments unless they have a ration card. I couldn't pay my bill but was stupid for not looking online.

Now the fun part.

Trying to get these things fixed. Pioneer is being very hesitant about the situation I have sent several goodwill adjustment emails and spoken to reps.

First call last year I was told " No problem just dispute them and well take them off" So I did nothing changed. A couple of hours ago I tried again and was told that the rep would personally send an email to a guy that works in their reporting department. This is where it gets fishy, he said he was sending them ( CR department) a request to remove the late payment and also to the big three. I think he was blowing smoke up my ***. So I sent an email to their customer advocacy email address and pretty much said that they suck and offer loans to military but don't try to help when military problems occur. Maybe I should have waited a month to see if they did change the late payments. Oh well the rep was being mean and wouldn't even CC me to the "email" he was sending.

I sent an goodwill email to AAFES and spoke to a rep, I had recently closed my star card with them 4 years old and my credit score dropped big time, so I asked to re-activate it and they gladly did. So i hope that by reactivating this card they will change the old info.

The pioneer account late payment was two years ago and the aafes was exactly a year.

Any tips on what I can do other than wait. I know that alot of addresses I have on my CR are wrong.

My credit scores are as follows

EX 606

EQ 590

TU 670

Hit pioneer with a dispute through the BBB. Hmm AAFES I don't understand as I have been a payment behind a few times and they never reported it late. After three late payments they send statements to your commander for as long as the card is open.
