So I'm going to start this process. I probably have 10+ medical bills from 2005-2011. Some are very large. I think i understand how to use this process. The part I have a question about is if I can send the oc less than the full amount. If I establish a connection between the OC and CA for the 2011 case I'll owe $7k. I cannot afford that so would I offer the oc less? I only have a few hundred dollars so I can't pay any oc the full amount.

You need to follow the steps:

http://www.whychat.5u.com/GUIDE%20HIPAA%20PROGRAM.html

You are asking about payment on accounts that may or may not be verified, that may or may not be deleted with your initial dispute letters, that you may or may not owe some amount of $$ on. Once you have your results from your initial disputes you can come back to this post with the results and get assistance with the next steps.

IN GENERAL, if you do not get a deletion from your initial dispute AND you get a response from the CA with a complete account record of your bill, AND if that complete account record matches your EOMBs ( explanation of medical benefits) from your insurance OR matches the discounted ( no insurance) bill you received, AND if the account is from a Dr or hospital and is less than 4 years old, AND after checking to see if the bill reflects the normal and customary charges,if you are able to pay the bill, then yes you pay the full amount. Otherwise if you can't pay, leave it on your reports.

If you have large valid recent bills and have not been sued it is because your reports indicate that you are "judgment proof".
