BOA crap

I have a file on this that possibly rivals ObamaCare BUT, as a very short version....
I have tried to sell a home for about 5 years. Been through a series of realtors, etc. Had a short sale or two fall through due to BOA foot dragging or rep "not turning in paperwork in a timely or complete manner..". Finally, out of frustration, initiated a Deed In Lieu process in Oct. 2012. Was told by BOA this would take about 10 weeks. Submitted and resubmitted the same paperwork. Part of the DIL process was approved approximately 2 weeks ago.

Now, almost 6 months after starting the DIL process, I have been informed that BOA is selling my loan to another mtg. company as of 04/01/2013! AND, I have also been informed that, since the DIL process cannot be completed before the change of service date, the part of the DIL that had been approved has been cancelled!!

Is this legal? Ethical?
Advice? Suggestions?

I don't have much to offer, except to add that BOA is awful. I've also been trying to do a DIL... for about a year and a half. It seems impossible.
