I got in GE when it was way down because of fears of its credit card unit's exposure. I am still long GE.

I am also long AXP, BRK.B, JPM, and PAL

Agreed. I'm averaged into GE at about $13 during the first few months of '09, plus a DRIP. Honestly, I'm a little let down on it, I thought back then that we'd be back near $25-30 by now. It's just hovered $15-20 for most of the last 3 years. But with the dividend it's been an easy hold for me.

Would/are either of you adding to your position at today's levels?

I may add at current levels. To be 100% honest, I've avoided trading individual stocks the past few years but I have a couple thousand that I've been direct depositing (over the past years) into a Sharebuilder account...and I may start playing with some options again; but easing back into all that.

I think the dividend makes it an almost no-brainer stock to buy and hold; but I'm wanting to speculate a little right now (risky) and it's not super risky.

I still like GE and pick up more every few weeks. I am no daytrader so don't look to me for advice on getting rich quick

I have eased out of about 50% of my JPM in the past 3 months.
