I woke up today to a Transunion alert, My Foreclosure was DELETED!! I disputed the inaccuracies as there were to many to list and they deleted!! I know they could Freeport but the company Homeq is no longer in business so I'm hoping the company who bought them doesnt!!! (Ocwen is who bought and that is who was listed so odds are against it) I'm ecstatic my fico jumped 25 points!!! Now let's hope Equifax does the same!!! Wooooo WhoOOOOsearch.gifyahoo.gifyahoo.gifclapping.gifclapping.gif

wow congrats! I am just beginning my credit repair journey, but once I start making progress on mine I'd like to tackle my husbands. He has a foreclosure/a few short sales from investment properties he went upside down on. He had near perfect credit previous to that, but now of course no one will lend to him and I'd like to help him get some of those off of his reports. I wasn't sure it could be done, now I know there is hope for him too :)

I just started as well, I wasnt even going to dispute this TL until I came to this site and it said look at every account for inaccuracies. This is my first deletion, I have a long road ahead but I am so glad. Once I conquer my credit I will conquer my other halves his will take more work and more money.. arg... :)

WOW! That is amazing!!!

I was coming to this site to see find advice on doing the exact same thing. I hope you don't mind me asking... How did you start?

My husband has a foreclosure on his cr from 2010. I'm not sure how it is suppose to report but I do know that not all the info is correct. Our mortgage was with PHH. It was a horrible experience and shouldn't have happened. I would just like to see if I can get this off his report as we are now trying to qualify for another home.

Thanks in advance for any advice you are willing to give :)

I literally looked for inaccuracies, and disputed them with CRA's I asked that they investigate all line items on TL as there were numerous errors. The servicing company homeq had been bought out so I think that's why they didn't/couldn't verify therefore they deleted.

This credit rebuilding thing is scary and overwhelming as to learning all the steps.....

I actually work disputing information on peoples credit reports. Not to be pesimistic, rather much an attempt to help you prepare, I've had more success getting negative accounts/reportings off from TransUnion than from Equifax or Experian. On the other hand, I've had my share of accounts removed from either of the other two that remained on TransUnion. Good Luck in your fight.

I am looking for any help in getting a Timeshare Foreclosure removed from my husband's transunion and equifax reports. We have tried everything! He co-signed for a timeshare for someone and of course they stopped making payments. In July of 2011, he noticed that the timeshare is reporting as a foreclosure on his credit, he was never notified that the payments were not being made. We have tried disputing this with the credit bureaus but they keep saying it has been verified. We cannot understand how a timeshare can be reported as a "foreclosure" when there is no deed involved. Does anyone know a way that we can possibly get this removed? Any help will be appreciated.

Congrats!! I'm in the exact same boat (trying to get a FORECLOSURE deleted from report and the OC was bought out by a new bank 2 years ago). Can you outline exactly what you did? I mean EXACTLY - step by step!! Were any letters handwritten vs typed? Did you fax or mail them? Did you dispute them on line? Were you wearing red socks went you went to the mailbox?!?!? LOL! Whatever you did to make this happen - PLEASE SHARE!!!

Michellelw, Is it possible that you are a part of the IFR settlement? You would have received a post card from Rust Consultanting. The reason I ask is that my foreclosure has been removed from all 3 CRAs for me and the accounts now just say transferred/sold with a 0 balance. Also the 2nd mortgage i had with Beneficial has been completely deleted....as if I never had it. I had just check my report in Jan of this year and my 2nd mortgage was still there because the foreclosure on my 1st mortgage did not pay off the 2nd, also the foreclosure was on my reports.

I have talked to others who are apart of the IFR settlement and some of them have noticed the same thing happening on their credit reports....

I'm part of IFR and mine has not been deleted as of yet. I'm actually in the middle of fighting Chase because it's reporting incorrectly and so far they have verified with CRA's and ignored my requests directly to them for correction. I've had to go as far as a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I wonder why they are fighting me so hard when it seems quite a few people had a deletion out of the blue.
