So I enrolled into a hardship program with one of my cards with Citi and I made all my payments until I looked at my bank statement and i noticed that the scheduled payment hasnt been deducted from my checking account. I log into my citi account and to my surprise notice that the interest rate is back up to 25% with about 7k left to go. I've almost paid of all my other cards and got my student loans in check and this will just put a lot of strain on my finances. Does anyone know if Citi allows you to do the hardship program twice? if not what other options are out there? Is it possible to negotiate a settlement with lower interest rate?
