I had a zombie debt rear it's head last month... I sent them Whychat's Validate/C&D letter. I have not received any response from them. What options, if any, do I have here?

was this in regards to something that you found on your credit reports, and sent a DV ?
or was this in response to a collection letter?
A CA doesn't have to respond to a DV that was recieved within the 30 days response time, but until they do , they have to cease collection attempts.
was this CA trying to collect on behalf of a JDB, or was this from the JDB?
need more information...

Thanks for the response!!
No, it wasn't a response to anything on my CR... Just a letter in response to a collection letter.
They have ceased collections completely.
It was a CA collecting on be-half of another company... This is ancient debt, maybe 15 years old or so.
