This is what I have left in my repair.

LVNV on DH's reports for $770. They are reporting installment, open, past due - verified with CRA.

The Bureaus, Inc. 1201 on my reports - reporting installment, open, past due, and even changed date of last activity - verified with CRA. Asked for validation they sent a statement with just the balance. Sent second DV and they responded with two statements one from 7/2010 and 2/2011 - neither show any payments. Shows Orchard as the creditor and my card was with HSBC. Does not match current balance. I currently have a BBB complaint against them.

Mountainland Collections - 566 - reporting installment, open, past due. This is for an apartment and the complex did not send me a disposition of deposit. They sent validation with a disposition of deposit (which I did not receive) date past the 30 day deadline as required by Ohio Revised Code. I sent them a letter citing ORC and case law and asked them to remove. They ignored the letter and verified with the CRAs. Currently have a BBB complaint and they have yet to respond.

Target - charge-off-845 - Enhanced Recovery is assigned to this account. Plan on paying this just trying to see how they will report.

Any advice would be appreciated. We desperately would like to buy a house and these last few are really holding us up.

What's ORC say damages are for a deposit that's improperly withheld? If within SOL, sue the apartment complex with the disposition of deposit. Then use that judgement as evidence that you don't owe any money to clean your CR.

ORC states double for damages improperly withheld plus attorney fees. The deposit was only $99 (it was a promo) so I need the attorney fees to make it stick I think. I probably will need to sue them. I filed a complaint with BBB and UAG and have yet to hear back but it has only been a few days.
