i hear a commercial at least 4 times every morning on the radio and it drives me nuts..it's supposed to say we are 'better than anyone else' vs better than anyone...correct?
you just cant be better than yourself..can you?
anyway if i have the choice ill never buy safelite glass because their commercials playing 4 times in 20 min are just insane.
better than anyone or better than anyone else?

I agree with you that it sounds better to include the "else" at the end. Actually, I think it would sound better if they used "We're better than everyone else.

Else is correct. You cannot be better than yourself.

i was mistaken in the usage, it's their glass that is better than anyones..oops
after hearing it 3 more times in 5 minutes today, i'm ashamed i didnt remember it more accurately
i dont understand the need to repeat something 2 times only separated by one other commercial
