I currently have a two year old Public Savings Bank w/$1000, Cap One Secured w/$1300 (21 mos) and a Orchard w/$420 (17 mos). I want to get a few cards that will more than likely give genourous limits. I am planning on bumping PSB to $3000 and Cap One to $3500 before applying. My score should wind up between 680-720 Equifax. I was planning on starting with Navy, my local cu, Walmart, Citi and Lowes. I then plan on adding Patelco, Amex (gold and bcp) and Discover after a year with my first group. Would you do others instead of what I listed? Which cards? Preferably Eq pullers. Thanks guys.

what are the reasons your scores are low? are you a member of Navy already? what kind of rewards can you most benefit from? I am not sure bumping the secured cards higher will help you much. in fact I would recommend closing orchard before applying for some of the cards you mention.

:ates on old student loan and car loan.. Joining Navy in a few days just created my way in.. Rewards aren't as important as limits to me. I would say cash back on groceries or gas would be nice. Cancel Orchard before doing anything? You don't think bumping the others would help ensure I don't get offered small limits by others?
