I called Telecheck & Chexsystems and send in my bankruptcy information and they removed all the negative reporting accounts. When I apply to join a credit union I am being denied due to Chexsystems! I called Chexsystems and they state there is nothing negative in your report.. The credit union says I am being denied because of the inquires in my Chexsystems report and because no accounts were opened with those inquiries!
I hate Wellsfargo! There the only bank I have. I want to join a Credit Union so bad, but I cannot be approved. What can I do? I want to join a CU!!!
So Im Screwed!!

There are 3 that jump out at me that might help you but I would go withIm in san diego ..
California Coast Credit Union
http://www.calcoastcu.org
-they allow even those that have a chexsystems report to get a membership and savings
-for those reported to chexsystems, they offer a fresh start checking but I am guessing that they would just approve you for a regular account since all you have are inquiries and nothing negative reported any longer

you are not screwed, chexsystem is simply like a reporting agency for checking accounts; much like you have the big three for credit scores
the CU CAN override the decline, the manager can even do this, and if the banker calls and sees that your debts with wells Fargo has been paid or settled in full--they can get permission from the uppers in the CU to override this.
I'm surprised that that CU doesn't at least have a checking account that is limited because of the chexsystem but still can be given to you to use and a few months down the line when they see you're responsible with your checking account, to upgrade you to one that isn't limited.
