I offered $289k and ended up paying $257k after appraisal and counteroffers. Payments are just ended $1900 a month. I'm stoked!

I joinded this board towards then end of last year with low 500s. I'm in the 650s and closed on my mortgage today! Many thanks to the members and founders of this board for the inspiration to get my credit together.

I had some charge offs that were paid in March with Cap1 and AMEX. I also had a motorcycle repo that had a balance of $2400 and paid a $940 settlement at closing.

VA is the way to go for those that are entitled.

Congrats!!!!! I plan on going VA soon. This will be my 3rd time using it Posted Image

Are taxes high there? 1900 for a house that you paid 257k seems high, but I am guessing taxes in WPB are high.

WOW!!!!! That is like $500 a month in just taxes! It is amazing the difference in locations can be!

Again congrats on the new house and thanks for posting the info!

Any chance you'd PM the house listing? I'm from Illinois and curious what that price gets you in WPB, FL.
