After an inspection of the facility, my gf’s boss emailed her and said they got written up for something and my gf needs to handle it right away, then the boss left. GF opens up the email attachment and it states that the soiled linen room (health facility) is too small and the cart in there is damaging the door somehow. So my gf investigates and writes back to the boss saying something to the effect (I’m paraphrasing of course): “I’ve called our laundry department and this is the smallest cart they have. Would you prefer that I cut the door down to stop it from being damaged anymore or just make the room larger?”
We are guessing the boss didn’t even look at the report but just knew there was something they were written up for.

Unless your GF is good friends with her boss, that response was pretty inappropriate.

Aren't you also the one with the out of office message?

Sunshine, I'm glad you two don't work for me.

oh yes she's much more friendly with hers than i am with mine....she's the fixer there..she actually is the one that GETS stuff done there. being the gatekeeper has much responsibility and she has much more fun there than i do here.
she's also being tormented with super bright lights. there's plenty of natural daylight there and other lights but the 3 above her head that were out were also 'written up' but she told them before it gave her headaches to be under such bright lite so they left them non functional..they said too bad and now she's back to working under the sun unfortunately.
oh and i just asked her how she was coming with making the room bigger and she is in the process of finding a magic wand to help with that task
