How to Get your TeleCheck Report

hello all... i did a search and did not see this info

 

Just wanted to share a little nugget...

 

I followed MCAs link and advice to get a Free Annual Telecheck report (link to their site was provided and toll free number)

 

just wanted to let you guys know that on the site and via the number provided they tell you to MAIL IN a request and to verify your identity

 

To verify your identity, with your request please include:

(1) a daytime contact phone number

(2) a copy of your driver’s license

(3) your social security number

(4) a voided check

(5) a copy of a tax or utility bill reflecting your current address

 

Send the request for your file report to:

TeleCheck Services, Inc.

Attention: Consumer Resolutions-FA

P.O. Box 4514

Houston, TX 77210-4514

 

I called the number provided and the same info was given... i spoke to a rep and he gave me the following number 1-800-366-1435 ... I called the number, there was no hold music no automated introduction, "____" (i know her name but not sure if i should post it) picked up on the first ring . I told her that i needed my report but i will not provide a voided check or tax/utility bill to verify current address... she assured me that this would be ok and i can just send in what i have and they will run the report based on the information i provide. I asked if there was a more expedited way to get my report. She offered to take my request over the phone. She took the request and assured me i would receive my report in 7-10 business days...
