Hey everyone. I have roughly $10k worth of medical bills from 09 that have gone into collections. The local hospital where I have the bad debt is being sold, and the sell will be completed by the end of the month. My question is. Is there anything that can be to get this removed?

Did you apply for or qualify for assistance??
Had the hospital made any collection efforts??
Other than the account(s) being on your reports have you had any other contact from any collection agency??

No, I did not have any type of insurance or assistance. Yes, the hospital has sold the accounts to an CA. I have not been contacted by anyone in over 2 years.

Get your REAL credit reports To order, visit annualcreditreport.com,or call 1-877-322-8228
If you have moved since the date of service try to get your old addresses deleted, send a brief handwritten letter to each CRA requesting the deletion of invalid addresses as you are concerned about ID theft/fraud. Provide a copy of your drivers license a copy of your SS card and an ORIGINAL recent utility bill as proof of your identity and correct address.
Once the address deletions have taken effect ( as much as possible) send each CRA this:

Come back to THIS POST for further instructions or assistance AFTER the above steps have been taken
