Inflation/Deflation ?

Inflation is sure here and I won't even entertain the 2% numbers (core inflation and all). If you've been to the grocery, gas station or anywhere else prices are skyrocketing and you can suffer sticker shock at the checkout.

 

Some are calling for deflation in the near future. I can see this in home prices. At least in my area they are still falling. I need to purchase a home before interest rates rise. Don't plan on selling, plan on retiring in it and staying put. Job is about as secure as you can hope for.

 

So what's a girl to do in these times? Hunker down and save dollars? Invest in the market before it goes bust ? (it will). Buy gold coins? Stock a pantry to feed everyone for the next year?

OK all I'm going to say is what the hell is wrong with this website that posts I spend 5 minutes writing get lost when I hit the submit button? Seriously WTF am I the only on that has that problem?
