Forgive me if this question has been asked before, but are the credit scores from mycreditkeeper.com going to be a bit different than the scores listed directly from the credit bureau agencies? Is that what is referred to as Fako and Fico??? Because when I checked my credit score from Equifax 1 month ago, there is a 40 point difference from the scores I checked recently at mycreditkeeper.com and there hasn't really been any changes to the activity on my credit report. Thanks!

yes, that is what is known as a faco. That will be different and how different varies from one person to the next.

The real benefit of CreditKeepr, PG, etc. are for monitoring of your reports from all three major CRAs. The scores are not true scores, but can be used as general indicators. If you want the real McCoy, pay for them when you feel your report shows a major change in scores and tradelines.
