Just leave that part out. Most dispute based on the fraud or account abuse that is indicated on the reportI used the first letter provided on www.chexsystemsvictims.com and I'm getting ready to send the follow up letter requesting the method of verification. They sent a copy of the original personal signature card w/ my ssn in their response. I'm wondering what changes, if any, I need to make to the M.O.V. letter?
Thanks.

Here's the response I received:
"As stated in our previous response, this letter is to inform you that the investigation of information contained in your consumer file at ChexSystems is complete.
The disputed information submitted by Bank of America Washington and Bank of America Missouri has been verified as accurate as reported, therefore it has been retained in your file. Enclosed is a copy of the information currently contained in your consumer report at ChexSystems based on the results of the investigation.
The source of the information has requested that you contact 1-888-208-4927 to obtain additional information. In addition, we have enclosed copy of signature card provided by source of information.
If requested by you, ChexSystems will provide you with a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy of the disputed information in your file.
Blah, blah, blah.
Then it states a statement can be added and that upon receiving the dispute they contacted BOA requesting an investigation and basically BOA reported the results of their investigation. It then provides BOA's contact info.
Let me know what to do next MCA. Thanks.

That's what this was in response to, at the bottom of the letter:
"Moreover, the procedure used is outline as follows:
Upon receiving your dispute, chex contacted BOA requesting an investigation and basically BOA reported the results of their investigation."

My questions are as follows:
1. What is a proper response from ChexSystems to the #2 Procedural Request letter?
2. If you received a copy of your signature card with the ChexSystems response to Letter #1, but nothing supporting the NSF claims do you need to adapt Letter #2?
3. If I understand correctly, ChexSystems is really just another CRA so it really isn't their responsibility to send me documents supporting the NSF. This brings me back to question #1..... what am I looking to accomplish? From what I can see I don't ever get to actually asking for documents supporting the NSF until I get to Letter #4 which is sent to the OC Bank.
Thanks for your time! Also, thank you for your list about the banks and CUs that do not use Chex! My brother is a vet and I was able to get into Navy FCU and am very excited about that as I hope to use them to finance a new car in a year or so.
In closing, I have not sent Letter #2 to Chex, but plan to do so upon your response. Thank you for helping me to fully understand th reasoning behind the procedural request.

MCA - I have a couple questions and am also in a situation virtually identical to the OP.OP, for that reason I chose to piggyback on your thread. I hope that's ok....

Many times when asking for the PR, they will not be able to verify with the reporting banks and some are removed this way. This is especially true for those that have older reports.
