How can anyone hate this card?

 

I have read that some people complain about this card.

 

Where else in the world can you get a credit card with a $4,000 limit having a 521 FICO score.

 

I called yesterday to ask about the "Take it Home" program and the rep and I started talking about the card. The card gets a bad rep because they will extend credit to almost any service member.

 

If someone is serious about rebuilding their credit then I think the military star card is the first place to start.

Do you know what their CL policy is on the Store Card? Call, automatic, etc?

The rep told me it was automatic, but the max credit line is 8500. The rep stated that it does not take long to get there............

I have a Star Card which I've had since 2004. I think it is great for military members to have and build up their credit! I have a $5,500 though $500 is for clothing sales.

I got the initial credit limit of $2,400 in 05' but never got a CLI.

I've had my Star Card almost 4 years and they automatically increase my CL every year. I started out with $2200 and right now I'm at $8700.
