Surcharges now Legal in Nevada - Taxis

Taxi companies in NV now charge a $3 fee for using a cc. The state legislature passed a law permitting this. I got a letter from MC that stated while it is a violation of MC merchant rules, a state law trumps the rule, and therefore the fee is indeed permitted and cannot be disputed by a cardholder.
