Those eyebrows are on-point for Sanford. You sound a bit jealous that you don't have Shellie's fighting eyebrows.

Records released Monday show that tens of thousands of dollars were transferred out of a bank account. Prosecutors allege a total of $47,000 was transferred from George Zimmerman's account to his sister's account from April 16 and 17, and that Shellie Zimmerman transferred more than $74,000 from her husband's account to her account between April 16 and April 19.

waiting for his sister to be charged...

and then this gem

"After this, ... you're going to be able to just have a great life," Shellie Zimmerman said.
"We will," replies her husband.
The two also talk about the support Zimmerman has received from the public, in the wake of the controversy that followed the Martin shooting.
"You're special and (an) amazing role model to people, honey," his wife said.
"Hmm, I wish, I wish I were," Zimmerman said.

The guy is pretty conniving. It wouldnt take much to imagine him planning out what he would say to the authorities if the opportunity presented itself for him to shoot someone.

They say tradegy + time = comedy but i dont think i will ever find anything about these events (and the countless unpublicized ones like it) amusing.

The Zimmermans are kind of stupid.

http://thegrio.com/2...have-my-hoodie/

During a call on April 17, two days before the bond hearing, George and Shellie discuss how he’d like to be picked up from jail if he is able to get bond. The two discuss renting two SUVs and whether or not the windows can be tinted. Shellie Zimmerman suggests that might not be necessary, because George could simply “lie down” in the back of one, to which George answers, “well I’ll have my hoodie,” followed by what sounds like a muffled laugh.

Those phone calls CAN be used as evidence, correct? To me, the comment about the hoodie is callous, which seems to fall in line with this whole case.

I see the Police Chief got fired yesterday. Surprise Surprise.

But have you read his witness statement?
Witness Statement

So...let me get this right. TM was slamming GZ's head into the ground and was covering his mouth and nose with his other hand? Then with a 3rd hand he reached for the "now exposed firearm"? Or did he stop slamming his head, but was still able to keep a hand over his mouth and nose AND reach for the gun?

Nowhere does it say that GZ tried to get TM's hand off of his mouth and nose so he could breathe. Wouldn't that be a normal reaction? I would think he would try to do that before reaching for a gun. There is no mention of that.

Btw, the whole "you got me" crap....

whats very interesting to me are the comments I read all over the 'net....

just a while ago I was ( in response to police chief firing) that this was the city of Sanfrod's way of bringing this story back to relevant news since everyone in America had long forgotten about it

if the comments Ive read ive read both in support of TM and defense of GZ are the pulse of America and its race relations, we are truly in trouble...

We ARE in trouble. :(

Did anyone hear that it was a cop who answered the non-emerg phone when GZ called that night? Not "just a dispatcher"?

Oh and I found this video. In this video he says that TM took his hand off his mouth to reach for the gun...

Video of GZ 24 hrs after shooting

The other thing that screams at me is the fact that GZ was so CALM. SO CALM. Through all of this. He doesn't seem to upset at all. Not like the guy in TX who just killed the man who he caught raping his 5 yo girl. This man was panicked and upset on those 911 calls. EVEN though he caught someone doing a HORRENDOUS act to his young child. He was hysterical. GZ was not, nor has ever been. He told the guy at the scene to call his wife and tell her that he just shot someone. 24 hrs later, in the interview, he is still calm.

Comments are favorite thing to read on any news story. Often anonymous and unfiltered. I was reading the story yesterday that embezzled around $10 million from her employer, wow the comments.

I'm a very calm person. I've never been attacked where I felt that I had to protect myself with deadly force but it is feasible that I'd be calm even doing that. We're all different and becoming panicked isn't a logical response for me. I don't see how his outward emotional reaction matters.

I think comments are generally truer than the story. Media is biased. In the case of Zimmerman, the media convicted him on day 1 before facts were available and many people who read the stories also kneejerked and mentally convicted him. A significant number of people have not kneejerked and some of those people post their opinions in the comments.

^ Agree, I don't think emotion alone is enough to declare him guilty. Some people have better control over their emotions than others. It's also possible he was in shock. It's also possible he was on some kind of med that may keep him calm (don't know, just throwing it out there). Of course it could be because it was an entirely premeditated and callous act... but I wouldn't judge based on his emotional reaction alone.

<<snipped>>

A family friend of George Zimmerman told investigators he sexually molested her on and off for nearly a decade, newly released audio tapes in the Trayvon Martin shooting case reveal.

"He would reach under the blankets and try to do things," the woman—identified as Witness 9—told investigators.

She said the molestation occurred at Zimmerman's parents' house.

"I would try to push him off, but he was bigger, stronger and older," she said during the interview conducted on March 20, less than a month after the Feb. 26 shooting. The woman, who contacted prosecutors after Martin's killing, said she was 6 and Zimmerman was 8 when the alleged molestation began. It continued until she was 16, she said.

Investigators asked the woman why she was coming forward now. "This is the first time in my life that I'm not afraid of him," she replied.

The woman also told state investigators that she anonymously called Sanford police after Martin's death.

"I was afraid that he may have done something because the kid was black," the woman says on the recordings. She said she had no direct knowledge of the shooting death, but wanted police to know Zimmerman had made negative comments about blacks when they were growing up.

As for the molestation allegations, her family would get together with Zimmerman's at least once a year, she said. "Every time that we would go up there, I could just look at him and he would give me a certain look and I would just know it was going to happen when we got together for family gatherings. ... He just got this look in his eye like he was going to [molest me]."

The woman said she was not the only victim. "It's not just me that he would do these things to," she told investigators. But the other alleged victim would never come forward, Witness 9 said, declining to give investigators her name: "She said she would deny it either way."

6 and 8? And it went on for 10 years? I hate to discount what she says occured but the timing, duration, and age make this sound a little suspicious.

The guy could be a total creep... but it does seem odd that it comes out now.

not saying that this story is true or not but from what I know about sex abuse, the telling of it now, 20+ years is VERY normal, especially after the victim feels safe ( the perp is in jail, dying/dead or multiple other victims have come out, et al) ... hell, read enough of the Catholic Priest molestation stories and you can see that

Yeah, I'm not automatically dismissing her story because of how long ago it happened. The shame associated with sexual abuse makes this common, like Tee said. He's already been shown to be a creeper of one sort, I wouldn't exactly be shocked it he was a different brand of creeper as well.

Yeah but aren't those cases usually where it's a person considerably older and in a position of authority? Most 8 year olds don't know what sex is, and some exploring is considered normal. Granted we don't know the extent of it. I guess its just hard for me to fathom, thinking back to when I was that age.

nope. it doesnt have to be someone a lot older or of authority... and MANY are victimized by other children... according to the experts when a child sexually abuses another child, the abuser was likely someone else's victim, thus their knowledge of sexual violence...

that said, 8 year old's arent naive... they know more about sex, under NORMAL circumstances, than you obviously can fathom

as far as the subject at hand, I wouldnt be surprised if Zimmerman's people now say he was himself a rape victim ( yes, we know this isnt going to be introduced to the TM case, but it will help him get sympathy in the court of public knowledge)
