$30k Gap Visa Upgrade???

Logged in to the Gap store card account today, had the offer to upgrade.

 

Jaw dropped when I saw the $30 limit listed on the second part of the upgrade process. I have a hard time believing that they're gonna bump me to a $30k card....

That would make a lot more sense. I have three cards at $3k'ish limits, so if they were gonna match what I already have it would be around $3k. I seriously doubt I'm getting a $30k card in the mail. I don't think their max limit even goes that high for that card, though someone on CB may know better.

I have never seen one that high. My mom's Old Navy is 8K, but she's had it for ages

So they close your store card and open a new account with new history? Damn it, I just checked and I have the same offer but I really don't like the idea of closing one of my oldest accounts and opening another new one.

Wow... I just logged back into the account, and it popped up a list of accounts... and again it shows the $30k limit. Might not have been a typo?

 

Anyone else know of a Gap Visa card limit even close to this?

 

I'll believe it when I see it, I guess... but it sure looks like I'm the recipient of some cool computer error!

you wont get it unless they upgrade you. max in store line is usually never over 2000
