Hi do any of you guys recommend any banks that do free ACH push and pulls. I did the LMCU max checking so I need at least once a month a direct deposit or ACH transfer. Unfortunately BofA charges $3 for ACH push. Was hoping to open an account I could use to pull from BofA and push to LMCU.
Any ideas?
Chase was good for that. Though I no longer use Chase for unrelated reasons, they were awesome for initiating speedy and free online transfers both ways to and from external accounts.
I'm not sure it's free for everyone ... perhaps for me it was a function of when I became or customer, or the fact that I started with Washington Mutual (which was handed to Chase upon its failure).

I also love their subaccount feature. I budget and set aside money from every paycheck into subaccounts. When a bill arrives, I transfer from the subaccount (which is immediate) and pay the bill. Figuring out expenses and then budgeting into the subaccounts really helped even out our finances. For example, our life insurance is due every 6 months. I divide the invoice total by 6 and put that into the insurance subaccount every month.

I use Alliant Credit Union as my primary bank and also have a BoA account. I've done both pushes and pulls to BoA and they are free.
Great thanks! I was debating about doing the same thing. I want to jump ship from BofA, its hard to wean off them as Im so used to them. My checking account interest rate is 0%, savings 0.05%, monthly fee $10 that is waived given direct deposit.
