PNC filed a motion to reflief of the stay in our bk, how soon will they foreclose?

I am a bundle of nerves. What will PNC do once they get their relief of stay? How soon will they try and foreclose? We two small boys and have nowhere to go. Court is set for 3-20-12. I am reapplying for HAMP, but I am running out of time.

When you file bankruptcy you enter into an automatic stay. Creditors have to stop calling, harrassing you and they can't foreclose or repo until they have their attorney go to the bankruptcy court and ask the judge for relief from the stay. The judge will grant relief and then the bank or creditor will start to foreclose.

It is my understanding that all the lenders go in and ask for an automatic stay. You should have enough time to send in you paperwork to restart your mod. I don't think they foreclose while you are in bk at least we havent seen that happen yet.

TTT, yes they can and do. That is the purpose of them filing to lift the stay, if not they would wait for discharge.
