Thanks for your application.

We need a little more information before we can get you pre-qualified. One of our finance specialists will contact you shortly.

No, it means that they need additional information from you. Most of the time its just to verify and validate information on your application and credit file.

It's possible that your application raised an ID/OFAC alert, that they need to clear before proceeding. But, when I said they wanted to check your temp, I just meant they might wanna just talk to you and guestimate how serious of a buyer you may or may not be in their opinion.

Ahhhh... lol Got it now.

Well I sent an email first to a dude we worked with 3 years ago in "Special Finance".
Told him if he could get us a decent rate then we would bite, but if not we will wait 6 months and try again. Told him to go through Ford Finance since we have good history with them. Spoke with him yesterday and he took the rest of the app so now I am waiting to hear back. We are in no hurry to buy, just want to see if we can get a decent rate. If we can we will buy a car today.

Thanks for all of your help Marv. =)

On 3/11 we bought another new car... got 6.99% through Wells Fargo Dealer Services this time.

Without CB this never would have been possible. :good:
