I have opted out and had all addys removed. If a CA verifies and updates the TL, would the addy from time of the ca encounters from past have the addy reinserted?
I just don't want to pull the cart before the horse and get run over in the process.
thanks for the help cb

Send the initial dispute letter to each CRA ( using a REAL report with its own ID#) this: ( list all MEDICAL ACCOUNTS, but NOT the judgment)just need a lil sense of direction here, I'm dealing with 3 ca's and a judgement that are all paid and show as paid 5 1/2- 6 years ago. I also have a mortgage with a bunch of lates from 3 years ago on a paid closed mortgage showing twice on two reports . I obviously want to have all negatives removed but I was wondering do I do just an initial regular cra dispute for all 5 or 6 TL or should I send out hippa letters for the paid ca accounts and a regular dispute for the judgment then tackle the non medical TL's?

If the CRAs do not delete, then you send the reporting CA this: (for accounts reporting as "paid")
http://www.whychat.5...hipaa.html#PAID
and as soon as you have proof of receipt, send this to the CRAs
http://www.whychat.5...aa.html#DISPUTE
In the meantime, get a copy of the RECORDED JUDGMENT and follow these instructions, wait until the medical accounts gave been removed before disputing the judgment.

two "final" quick questions... will the CRA wonder why I am not disputing the judgement since they are all from the same CA?
also if I can find the judgement online on my states .gov website that means it is recorded correct?

The CRAs do not care what you have disputed, they just deal with your actual dispute.thanks so much Whychat!

If your judgment was actually adjudicated and entered on the records it would be in the County records, look for "recorded instruments" on your County Clerk's website. You do NOT want to look up the case file, it s possible that the judgment was never recorded. If it WAS recorded, ( which I doubt) and you paid it, then there will also be a release of lien filed.

I fired off the pre HIPAA letters last week. So I'll see how that goes and go from there.

Wait until the CA accounts are off the reports before disputing the judgmentok so it is a recorded satisfied judgment from 2006, got certified copies of the judgment with the court seal. she was never served though but we also acquired the proof of service saying she was served by CMRR which was notarized.
