My electronic submission was accepted around 5:30pm on the 1st. My refund status showed up yesterday as well. It also says the 21st, though their posted schedule indicated the 15th.FWIW, I efiled on the 3rd (after business hours) and my refund status didn't show until today.

We are sorry, we cannot provide any information about your refund.
OBVIOUSLY, the IRS working with The H to conspire against me. Rude.

FWIW, I efiled on the 3rd (after business hours) and my refund status didn't show until today.
Thanks for the heads up. I filed on the 3rd as well, and as of last night it was still giving me an error message.
Also, can anyone give more information on how we can estimate what we should claim on our taxes? I know the only credit I am eligible for is the $2500 education credit.
I believe post 19 said there was a way to get more in paycheck and close to zero +/- come tax time.
Thanks

Go to paycheckcity dot com and fool around with their paycheck caluclator and the exemption amounts until you come up with an amount that would net you zero refund. If you used a tax software program, just use your current return for this year and, assuming nothing is going to change, plug in the numbers you get from the online calculator and go from there.

It was my fault to not change my tax deductions. I will change them this year and will owe them next year.

It's the IRS, who's typically known for moving at the speed of mud...and y'all are mad 'cuz you can't get a status after 4 or 5 days? Come on.
I filed my State on Tuesday... my refund was in my account this morning... of course the FIRST thing I see this morning is a pair of shoes on sale online... and I have justified it in my head 45 times since then...
I DID finally decide on a dishwasher & the the crap doesnt come in bisque...ughhh I dont want black or stainless steel anymore...
(back to the drawing board)
my fed return can take its sweet time.... Im literally going to freeze it in a block of ice....

Yep. I'm sincerely hoping it comes in after the race I want to do sells out. I am positive I will have no self control if the registration is still open....

Thanks I will have to look into this. Except starting 1/1/2012 I began working for a new company who put me on salary, so nothing from previous year will work. I've used turbo tax for the past 3 years.
My mother does this with her paycheck and then switches it back sometime there after to pay the right amount of taxes. I'll have to question her.
And I am still getting the error message as well. I just want to make sure there wasn't a glitch in the system from accepting it.

ETA:At least they have an update on the WMR page now saying they know there's an issue with WMR and it shouldn't affect refunds.

I really think the refund schedule this year is a suggestion, not an ACTUAL schedule.ETA:
At least they have an update on the WMR page now saying they know there's an issue with WMR and it shouldn't affect refunds.I dont see any such update.. let me check again.Nevermind, I see it now. Hope they dont mess up with my refund schedule, and is supposed to be DD on 15th.

I'm with you on this. Kinda counting on that $ to help pay for DD's birthday party and a few other things.

This year return has been very complicated. TurboTax reported a moderate risk of audit, so hopefully I won't have to go through that all over again...
