Friend needs debt help

Hello all. I wasn't exactly sure where I should post this. I hope it is fine here.

I have a friend (yes, really, it's not me ) who's having a hard time paying his bills. I believe he's got a credit card bill, car loan, student, loan, and of course the usual utilities, cell phone, tv etc. He is ex-Navy. He has a job but is not being compensated well. He makes just above minimum wage here where we live to manage this store. He gets very little commission and no health ins or paid vacation (I should probably mention it is a family business). Anyway, he's having a very hard time making ends meet. Is there any help out there that he may be eligible for? Websites, ideas, etc are all greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

What is one to do when what you make is as much or less than what you owe???

Make more or spend less. Those are really the only options.

I know this is easier said than done, but he could go to college (should be eligible for grants/aid) and look for a higher paying position that meets his needs
